Where should I start?

Explore the example project to see how a paper moves from reading, drafting and revision to figures and a finished draft.

Or start with the task in front of you: translate a paper, develop a research outline, or revise an existing draft. You can use the tools in the order that suits your work.

Which features require an account?

You can explore the example project, open the workspace and try the basic tools without signing in.

The Research Archive and AI chat require an account. Signing in does not mean subscribing; see the plan recommendations below for membership options.

Where can I check my allowance, and when does it reset?

Check the free platform trial allowance in Settings; it resets each calendar day in Shanghai time. Subscription allowances appear on the membership page and follow your subscription billing period.

Text requests, image usage and AI chat credits are counted separately. A paper task can make several requests, so request counts are not paper counts.

How do I choose a subscription plan?

Consider Personal for everyday reading, outlining, revision and AI chat. Consider Research for more frequent use, page-by-page PDF translation and scientific figures.

Upcoming subscription plans will include AI chat and image-service allowances. Specific allowances, pricing and usage rules will be published on the subscription page.

How is my data stored?

Once signed in, manuscripts and research records you save are stored in your own account. You can view, manage or delete them at any time in the Research Archive.

When you use AI features, relevant content may be sent to model or image-service providers for processing.

I already have a draft. What can PAGEBOND help me improve?

PAGEBOND can help refine your structure, wording and paragraph flow. It can also make AI-style writing feel more natural by reducing formulaic phrasing and repetition while preserving your voice.

Can I use generated citations directly?

Verify them first. AI may produce inaccurate authors, titles, years or DOIs, or connect a real paper to a claim it does not support.

Check each reference against the original paper or a literature database. Confirm that it exists, its details are correct and it supports the relevant claim before adding it to your manuscript.

Can I use my own API key?

Yes. Add a compatible text API key in Settings to use your own service in supported tools. Your provider bills that usage.

Personal keys stay in the current page session and must be added again after a refresh. AI chat uses platform services only.
